Using Storely on mobile
Storely is a web app — there's nothing to install. Open your phone's browser, go to your Storely URL, and log in.
Built for the floor
Three screens are purpose-built for phone use: Receive, Pick, and Cycle Count. Each shows one item at a time with large text and a camera scanner, so a picker or receiver never has to squint at a tablet-sized layout on a five-inch screen.
Add it to your home screen
| Device | Steps |
|---|---|
| iPhone / Safari | Tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen. |
| Android / Chrome | Tap the three-dot menu, then Add to Home Screen. |
Once added, Storely opens like any other app icon — no browser chrome, no typing a URL each shift.
Camera scanning tips
Any iPhone or Android camera works — no dedicated hardware needed. For the most reliable reads: good lighting, and hold the phone about 20–30cm from the barcode. The scanner vibrates briefly on a successful read, so you don't have to watch the screen to know it worked.
Already have Zebra or Honeywell scanners? Keyboard-wedge scanners work too — they type the scanned barcode straight into the active field, no extra setup required.
