Step 2 of 2
Your first shipment
Three steps from empty warehouse to a package out the door: receive inventory, create an order, and ship it.
Receive inventory
Open Receiving → New Receipt, pick the client, and add the SKUs and quantities arriving. As you check items in, assign them to bins — this is what lets the picker find them later. If a SKU doesn't exist yet, create it from the same screen without leaving the receipt.
Create an order
Open Work Orders → New Work Order, select the client, and add the line items to ship. You can enter orders manually here, or — once you've connected a sales channel (Shopify, Amazon, etc.) — they'll show up automatically.
Pick, pack, and ship
The order moves through three stages, each with its own screen:
- Pick — the picker walks the suggested bin route and scans each item.
- Pack — items get boxed and weighed.
- Ship — apply the shipping label and mark the order shipped in Storely. In-app rate shopping and label buying is a coming-soon add-on; until it's on your account, your client typically supplies their own label for you to apply — see Orders, allocation & shipping for details.
